The Regenesis Discipleship Values

The rhythms and convictions that shape how we follow Jesus together — from conversion to mission.

01
Conversion

“Jesus changed me.”

Discipleship begins with a new heart. Conversion is the work of God that turns us from darkness to light and from death to life — the change Jesus makes in everyone who trusts Him.

02
Baptism

“Going public with the change.”

Baptism is the believer’s first public step of obedience — a picture of dying and rising with Christ, and a confession before the church and the world that we belong to Him.

03
Devotions

“Refocusing on Jesus.”

The Christian life is sustained by daily nearness to God. In Scripture and prayer we steadily refocus our hearts on Jesus, watching and giving thanks.

Evangelism

“Inviting others to Jesus.”

Having received good news, we share it. Evangelism is simply telling others about Jesus — His death and resurrection — and inviting them to follow Him, always ready to give a reason for our hope.

05
Membership

“Joining the others with Jesus.”

We were not made to follow Jesus alone. Membership is committing to a body of believers — one another’s in love, care, and accountability — as members of one another in Christ.

06
Stewardship

“Being accountable to Jesus.”

Everything we have is a trust from God. As good stewards we use our time, gifts, and resources faithfully — cheerful and accountable, longing to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

07
Corporate Worship

“Why am I with the others.”

We gather as a church to behold God together — stirring one another to love and good works, singing His praise, and rehearsing the day when every nation will worship the Lamb.

08
Discipleship

“What am I doing with the others.”

Disciples make disciples. We walk with one another in the Word — teaching, correcting, and encouraging — so that together we grow up into maturity in Christ.

09
Mortification

“Forgetting what isn’t Jesus.”

By the Spirit we put sin to death. Mortification is the daily work of laying aside the old self and what is not of Christ, pressing on toward what lies ahead.

10
Missions

“Crossing boundaries for Jesus.”

As the Father sent the Son, so He sends us. Missions is crossing boundaries — of place, language, and culture — to carry the gospel to those who have not yet heard.

11
Offices

“Servant leadership for the church.”

Christ gives His church leaders to equip and serve it. We recognize the biblical offices of elder and deacon — qualified, servant-hearted men appointed to shepherd and support the body.
